Glaze Eatery is a name that’s often mentioned in the Tapay office. It’s a popular lunch spot for my colleagues so last week, I decided to visit to find out what the fuss was all about. After seeing all of my colleagues’ insta-worthy photos on my feed, I had to satisfy my curiosity!
I love the colour scheme at Glaze Eatery.

If you haven’t already been to Tamarind Square then I highly recommend dropping by especially if you’re keen on industrial architecture. The whole area has a modern concrete design with lots of lush greenery which makes it an ideal spot for photo taking. Not all the lots are occupied, but there are plenty of dining options available already.
The restaurant was packed when I visited, but thankfully we only had to wait 10 minutes before getting a spot.
Every corner of the restaurant is impeccably decorated and picture worthy.
One of the first things I noticed were the cakes on display by the counter. I immediately made a mental note to make space for dessert!
We found a spot for the 3 of us at the main table which is large enough to seat 10 to 12 people comfortably. I thought it would be great for a dinner party with a group of friends.
Seafood Aglio Olio ( RM 16), Butter Chicken Rice (RM 13), Mint Lychee Mojito Mocktail ( RM 12), Long Black (RM 7)
Glazy Eatery is kid-friendly too with a cute little play corner for children. Great for entertaining restless kids while you enjoy your meal.
My friend ordered the Seafood Aglio Olio (RM 16) which was laden with squid and prawns. The spaghetti was well seasoned and al dente.
I ordered the Butter Chicken Rice (RM 13). The chicken was crispy and
My friend who ordered the Creamy Curry Pasta (RM 13) said she enjoyed this as it just the right amount of creaminess to compliment the spiciness of the pasta.

We had the Burnt Cheesecake (RM 12) and Married Salted Caramel Cake (RM 12) for dessert. Between the two, I enjoyed the burnt cheesecake more, but I am always partial to cheesecake so that’s a given!
Glaze Eatery has a nice outdoor area which would also be great to host a party or an event. I would have had my lunch here but it was a little too hot that day.
We obviously opted to pay for our meal via Tapay!
All in all, we felt that Glaze Eatery offered good food and good value for money. It’s a beautiful space which makes it great for photos, and ideal for hosting events. The next time you’re looking for a spot to throw a party, it would be good to keep Glaze Eatery in mind.
