TaPay Apps FAQ

TaPay is available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

To set a password in TaPay, you need to enter a minimum of six alphanumeric characters. 

For the time being, Tapay app is only available in Malaysia

You may contact our Customer Service at 03-86842277 to freeze the account. Once you have a new mobile phone, you may contact us to unfreeze the account. 

You may log in to your Tapay > Click on “Me” > click on “Avatar”” and select which button that you need to make changes. 

 

The minimum amount of money that can be added into your TaPay app is RM10. The maximum amount is RM200. 

For the time being, you can only reload via online banking (FPX).  

The transaction password is needed to authorize all your transaction in the app.

We’re sorry you got double charged. Please contact the merchant upon checking your transaction history. Our merchant should refund it back immediately provided that the transaction is done within the same day. 

You need to have supported device to download the app and a Gmail account.

Please make sure the registered phone number is correct. 

Funds stored in TaPay are just as safe as physical cash in your own Wallet. In fact, it’s actually more secure than physical cash.With e-wallets, you can minimize the amount of physical money to carry.

You may reload your TaPay credit via FPX.  

User can change transaction PIN by login into TaPay and select “Me” > click on “avatar” >click transaction password to change transaction pin. 

User can change their password thru  Homepage > select “Me” > click on “avatar” > click transaction password.

User needs to call Customer Service to unblock and reset the password.  

The refund process will take 3-5 days for regular issues. For a particular case, the refund process will take up to seven days. 

P2P features are currently not available.

Payment password is part of our security measure to prevent unauthorized payments.

Please click on “Forgot Password” on your TaPay Biz account homepage and follow the instructions to reset your password.

For the time being, you are not allowed to share the same QR code.

Customer can launch  their TaPay app, scan your merchant QR code to pay, key in the amount and select pay the transaction amount.

Settlement for daily transaction will take T+1 to process.

There are no charges to register as a TaPay Biz merchant.

All transaction requires 6-digit pin number to go through. Only the user and business owner have the security pin number.

Go to your TaPay Biz Homepage and Click on “Accept Payment”. You will be able to see your QR code there.

Go to your Homepage, click on “My Profile” ,click on “Other Setting” and then click on “Change Login Password”.

There will be no termination fee and all the balance will be transferred into your bank account.

Go to your TaPay Biz Homepage and click on “Details”. Alternatively,you can click on “Report”. You can see the breakdown report by stores, today, this week and custom the period in accordance to your preference.

Go to your TaPay Biz Homepage, click on the transaction that you wish to refund and click on “Refund”. You would need to do the refund on the same day as the transaction made.
